What are Moles?

Moles are small brown or black patches on the skin when skin cells gather in a cluster as opposed to in an even spread. They may appear at any time, and can be flat or raised and some even have hair growing on them. They are usually circular or oval in shape.

Any mole that changes shape, size, texture, or bleeds should be checked by a skin specialist for peace of mind.  Moles can be removed for aesthetic reasons or for medical reasons.
