Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers can be used on the face, hands, neck and decolletage. They will help to volumise and hydrate the skin so that it looks smoother and more rejuvenated.

They are popular with both older and younger adults; whether the treatment goal is to create a more youthful appearance, or to provide more defined facial features.

Dermal fillers are applied using a fine needle. The right density and dosage of filler is selected according to the area it’s being used to treat, so that it works effectively with the specific tissues beneath the skin. The injections are placed where the best support can be given, that will also complement the individual structure of the face. A high concentration of hyaluronic acid provides the skin with increased hydration which helps to revitalise the complexion and improve its overall condition.

Dermal fillers are used to improve a wide range of common concerns, including: flat cheeks, facial volume loss, thin lips, a misshapen nose, wrinkled chest, ageing hands, jowls, receding chin and tear troughs (hollow areas beneath the eyes).

Frequently asked questions

Miss Breahna will discuss your specific concerns at a discreet pre-treatment consultation. She will demonstrate the results you are likely to achieve, according to your goal.

Dermal fillers provide a temporary outcome for a range of concerns. They are safe and effective and will dissolve gradually over a period of around 12-18 months.

An injectable process can be uncomfortable for some patients which is why Chester Cosmetic Surgery will offer the use of a topical numbing prior to treatment.

Common side effects including: swelling, bruising and redness are to be expected immediately after the treatment. These may last for a few days, but don’t often cause lasting downtime.

Dermal filler will provide an instant result. As hyaluronic acid slowly integrates with the inner skin tissues, the outcome will continue to develop, resulting in an appearance that becomes firmer, fuller and more radiant.
